Outsourcing California State Contracts
|
California Assemblymember Mike Eng (D-Monterey Park) wants to stop the outsourcing of state contracts, when the work can be completed more cost effectively by state employees. If passed, Engs legislation, Assembly Bill 756 would require the state of California to track and report how much it spends on outside contracts. It would also set up a website so the public can see how much the State is spending on outsourced work. Heres more, in this Assembly Web Report.
