On September 28th 2005, the Vancouver Public Library hosted a marijuana law debate called "Cannabis Conundrum". Marc and Jodie Emery attended along with their friend and fellow activist, lawyer Kirk Tousaw. The debate panel included Doug Lang, a Vancouver Police Department veteran of 30 years.
