What actually has a greater effect on jobs in America – hiring illegal immigrants or outsourcing jobs?
Not that I’m supporting illegal immigration, but I strongly feel more jobs are being taken away because of outsourcing. Basically, I don;t see how someone can complain about illegal immigrants and then shop at Wal-Mart. Thoughts?
well illegal immigrants are actually breaking the law
Hm…I’m not sure, but your question has caught my interest. I shall do research, but my gut feeling is that outsourcing is more of a problem too.
Outsourcing since those are the high paying jobs. But professional people have a much easier time of finding work then entry level high school graduates and drop outs. So illegal immigrations hurts more
Outsourcing jobs hurts America more.
When jobs are outsourced money leaves the country too.
So domestic money is going to pay off foreigners.
Wrong is wrong. I don’t like to make one worse than another. It is like having to choose which to work against. We can do both.
Jobs leave due to our standad of living. It happens all the time in this country. If I can hire one person, I will hire the best worker at the lowest wage. If the best worker becomes higher paid and less productive, I cannot compete with the competition, so I replace him. If the government forces me to give too many benefits, I would look where they are not required.
Keep the federal government out of it and the states can compete. The jobs can stay here. But the federal government over regulates, over taxes and this government wants national unions. It will just put us further in the hole.
I would rather have a job with lower pay and less benefits than have no job.
Illegal aliens…The government creates too many laws and enforcese the laws it wants to. Right out of “Atlas Shrugged”.
The former. When we send jobs overseas, they do not tax and pilage our infrastructure including schools, healthcare and prison system.
Well, let’s see…Why don’t we ask some of the illegal immigrants working at the Chrysler plant…Oh, yeah, you can’t ask them. The PLANT MOVED TO GERMANY.
